Kundana - Bore Hole Pump Package

Flo-Max 16 stage submersible pump with 335kW 2P electric motor supplied for dewatering of previously decommissioned Gold mine in Kundana, near Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.

This pump is situated 500m below the surface and is constructed from SAF2507 Super Duplex Stainless Steel to resist the highly corrosive ground water.

Likewise all headworks are constructed from SAF2507 and Monel alloy, with control valves carefully employed to control pressure and maintain flow as the static water level drops during the life of the project. Nominal pump duty is 50 litres per second at 480m head.
