Health & Safety Policy

Dynapumps Group Pty Ltd (Dynapumps) are a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of pump products and services to a range of industries within Australia as well as international clients. Dynapumps’ Management acknowledges health and safety as an integral part of business operations and is committed to providing a healthy and safe workplace for all employees and contractors (workers), visitors and other interested parties by identifying, assessing, and eliminating or minimising hazards and risks to as low as reasonably practicable, and promoting safety and health awareness among its workers.

To fulfill this commitment, Dynapumps will:

• Comply with all work health and safety legislation and approved Codes of Practice for each State or Territory operated in;
• Demonstrate effective leadership in the development and implementation of health and safety objectives and targets to ensure continuous improvement in eliminating work-related injury or illness;
• Ensure Dynapumps Integrated Management System complies with and is maintained in accordance with ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems;
• Ensure equipment and processes are correctly designed, operated and maintained to ensure compliance with safety and health requirements and applicable Standards;
• Encourage active participation from workers in observing and recommending improvements to reduce exposures to any risks and hazards in the workplace;
• Consult and communicate effectively with workers on health and safety matters and respond to any concerns or hazards raised;
• Provide support to injured employees from the initial first aid treatment on site by trained first aiders, ongoing medical treatment and rehabilitation back to work;
• Provide supervision, information, instruction, and training to enable workers to carry out their work safely;
• Provide appropriate safety and personal protective equipment;
• Ensure injuries, illnesses, incidents and near-miss events are reported and investigated to prevent their recurrence; and
• Strive to continuously improve systems and processes.

Dynapumps encourage a positive, proactive attitude and performance with respect to protecting health and safety values and expect all our workers to:

• Take reasonable care for their own health and safety in the workplace;
• Report unsafe acts, working conditions and injuries, illness, incidents and near-miss events;
• Use safety equipment and personal protective equipment provided to them as instructed; and
• Behave in a manner that reflects Dynapumps’ safe work practices and health and safety standards.

This policy is endorsed by Management, supported by Dynapumps workers, and provided to interested parties on request.
