Electric / Diesel Fire Water Pump Set for Covalent Lithium concentrator facility, this fire pump has a large flow rate of 90L/s @ 100m of pressure

Each pumpset is installed on a separate skid with suction and discharge pipework due to their size. The pipework arrangement has been reinforced to minimise resulting nozzle loads and ensure suitability for coastal installation.

The Electric Fire Pump consists of a Pumpsense 200-600 large end suction pump driven by a Toshiba 185kW motor. The pump is fed via a DN250 suction line and feeds the network via a DN200 discharge line, fabricated in-house.

The Diesel Fire Pump consists of a Pumpsense 150-450 large end-suction pump coupled by a driveshaft and torsional coupling to a CAT C7.1 diesel engine. The pump is fed via a DN250 suction line and feeds the network via a DN200 discharge line, fabricated in-house. The Grundfos CRI 5-22 Jockey Pump is mounted on the same skid and ensures the fire water network is pressurised in the event of small leaks or take-offs.
