This video demonstrates the Graco electric operated diaphragm pump using a controller running a brushless DC electric motor to achieve higher efficiency. The biggest difference between the standard diaphragm pump and the 1050e electric operated diaphragm pump is that the latter is powered by an electronic motor and a controller similar to a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD). The Graco controller is used to control the flow output of the electric operated diaphragm pump.
By adjusting the air flow or pressure for speed, it can be adjusted by using the controller to raise or lower the output flow. The electric operated diaphragm pump includes a patent pending air-charged center, which supports the life of the diaphragm. The air-charged center also allows the user to put the pump into low pulsation mode, as well as stall under pressure without damaging the pump.
