Recently, a cruise terminal facility received an upgrade from Dynapumps. The upgrade included the installation of two 5-stage, vertical turbine fire pumps with gearboxes and 240 kW diesel engines, each mounted to a base frame. A jockey system, control panels, design analysis, and string testing were also part of the package.
The installation of the pump systems, caissons, and engines at the port required the involvement of nearly the entire Dynapumps Queensland team. Special thanks to Derek Ball, alec tobin, Brendan Rutherford, Andy Leong, and Andrew Buck for their tremendous efforts in successfully installing and making the fire protection system operational on-site.
