Ross Mackay has quite a history with pumps. This relationship began 40 years ago with Ross starting out as an apprentice in the pump business. From there he graduated from the Stow College of Engineering. During his career, Ross has worked with suppliers as well as end users which has provided him with a unique perspective on how to get the most out of your pumps.
Ross’ experience and knowledge meant that he was in demand internationally to service pumps and trouble-shoot pumping problems. This has taken him to Europe, Scandinavia, Asia and North America. Ross has learnt that “every plant has similar pump problems and for very similar reasons”. He has published many papers on preventing and solving pumping problems in principal industry magazines over the last 20 years and is an accomplished public speaker.
Ross has three books to his name, including the seminal Practical Pumping Handbook. On top of all his other achievements; Ross has created and successfully run the Mackay Pump School for the last 15 years.
Dynapumps are investigating the possibility of inviting Ross Mackay to hold pump training seminars in Australia later in 2013. Ross is excited about the prospect of visiting Perth, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne to share his wealth of knowledge. These seminars would be held in a central metropolitan location with canapés and beverages supplied. For more information on Ross Mackay visit http://www.practicalpumping.com/
