Dynapumps recently engineered a dual diesel containerised fire pump set for Woodside's Burrup onshore workshop facility, designed to replace and upgrade their aging system whilst keeping within the ISO Sea container footprint size.
It features 2 Southern Cross ISO-PRO 125x100-315 pumps driven by individual Cummins 6BTAC177 Diesel Engines, complete with jockey pump and all valving and pipework in accordance with AS2941, all housed within a modified 40' sea container.
The sea container itself is acoustically attenuated to 85dB @ 1m and is completely fitout for the pump installation including checkerplate flooring, overhead monorail, automatic intake louvres, recessed control panels, GPO's and emergency lighting.
A Sea Container installation was utilized due to the agressive coastal installation environment, giving increased protection to the pumpset from the sun, sea and dirt. It utilises both internal and external fuel sources to ensure maximum uptime and runtime in the event of a fire situation.
Dynapumps was awarded this package based on our previous sea container fire pump systems, level of staff expertise and advice provided, our extensive quality management system and based on the high quality of work produced upon workshop inspection.
